PESCO Duplicate Bill: Download, Print and Pay On Time
A PESCO duplicate bill is just a reprint of your current bill, pulled from the online portal when the paper copy is lost, delayed or never delivered. It shows the same amount and the same due date as the original, so there is no extra charge for getting one; it simply lets you pay on time. The only thing you need is your reference number.
Getting your PESCO duplicate bill online
- Open bill.pitc.com.pk/pescobill.
- Enter your 14-digit reference number, digits only.
- View the current bill on screen.
- Use the browser's download or print option to save the PDF or print a copy.
- Pay it at a bank or authorised outlet, or through your bank app or a mobile wallet using the reference number.
The portal keeps the most recently issued bill. For a much older month it may not be online, and your PESCO sub-divisional office can supply a copy. The full online bill check guide has more on the portal.
The due date and the two payable amounts
Every PESCO bill shows a due date and two figures: the amount payable within due date and a higher amount payable after due date. The difference is the late-payment surcharge. The due date is usually around ten days after the bill is issued, so a duplicate matters most when the paper bill arrived late and the date is near.
| When you pay | Amount that applies | Result |
|---|---|---|
| On or before the due date | Payable within due date | No surcharge |
| After the due date | Payable after due date | Late-payment surcharge added |
| Missed for a full cycle | Amount moves to the next bill as arrears | Risk of disconnection |
How to pay a PESCO bill after the due date
If the due date has passed, you do not need a fresh bill. Pay the payable after due date amount shown on the same bill; banks, authorised outlets, bank apps and mobile wallets all accept it. If the billing cycle has already rolled over, that unpaid amount reappears as arrears on your next bill, which you can open online the same way. Because continued non-payment can lead to disconnection, clear the after-due-date amount as soon as possible.
Where and how to pay your PESCO bill
With the duplicate saved or printed, the same reference number works across every payment channel:
- Banks and authorised outlets. Hand the printed bill to any bank branch or authorised collection counter that accepts utility payments.
- Bank apps and internet banking. Under the electricity or utility category, select PESCO, enter the reference number, and pay from your account.
- Mobile wallets. Wallets such as Easypaisa and JazzCash accept electricity bill payments; choose the bill option, enter the reference number, and confirm the amount.
- ATMs. Many banks offer utility bill payment from the ATM menu, again using the reference number.
Keep the receipt or the app confirmation until the payment clears, which usually appears on the portal within a day or two. Try not to leave payment to the final hour before the due date, since a delayed transfer can still leave you liable for the after-due-date amount.
Staying ahead of the surcharge
- Check the bill online early each month rather than waiting for the paper copy to arrive.
- Keep your reference number saved so a missing bill never forces a late payment.
- Set a reminder a few days before your usual due date.
If the bill is not only late but higher than usual, read the high-bill guide before paying so you understand the amount. You can also confirm your reference number in our bill checker before heading to the portal.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a fee for a PESCO duplicate bill?
No. A duplicate is the same bill reprinted from the portal, with the identical amount and due date. Viewing and downloading it online is free.
How do I download my PESCO bill as a PDF?
Go to bill.pitc.com.pk/pescobill, enter your 14-digit reference number, and when the bill opens use your browser's print or download option to save it as a PDF or print a copy to pay.
What happens if I pay my PESCO bill late?
You pay the higher "payable after due date" amount, which includes a late-payment surcharge. If the cycle has already moved on, the overdue amount is added to your next bill as arrears, and prolonged non-payment can lead to disconnection.
Can I download an old PESCO bill?
The portal usually shows only the latest bill. For older months it may not be available online, so contact your PESCO sub-divisional office with your reference number to obtain a copy.
