Domestic Tariff Slabs Structure

• Protected Category (Up to 200 units): Consumers whose consumption has remained below 200 units consistently for the past 6 consecutive months receive subsidized base rates.
• Unprotected Category: Consumers exceeding 200 units or with seasonal spikes in energy use fall into progressive slab tiers (1-100, 101-200, 201-300, 301-700, and 700+ units).

Your PESCO bill total includes the base unit rate plus:

2. Financing Cost Surcharge (FC Surcharge)
3. Electricity Duty (ED) & General Sales Tax (GST 18%)
